First, I went to the gym last night and jogged 2 minutes without stopping. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but I haven't been able to do that in 4 years! [because I never consistantly worked out] I get scared/anxious before I start jogging because I never know how long i'm going to be able to do it and I don't want to fail at my goal. So tonight, my goal was to jog 3 minutes, and I did it! That felt really good to know that I can do it! Tomorrow, I WILL do 4 minutes. That's just crazy to think of! My next goal after that will be 5 whole minutes! I will be so excited! I only stop because my breathing gets hard after awhile. My legs are okay. They burn, but I could push through that. So I will definitely keep you all updated on that!
Second, I started the rubber band on your wrist thing yesterday. It really helps me figure out how much I need to drink. Yesterday I drank 7 cups. Today [because I forgot to wear them] I only drank 3. I really need to get my butt in gear because I know its the healthiest thing! [ and its not that I drink soda all day or anything, I just don't drink anything! Sometimes coffee or hot tea]Third, I did updated measurements today! It's been 10 days and here are the new measurements in comparison..
2/29/12-
- Left Arm: 15.5in
- Right Arm: 16in
- Left Leg: 28.5in
- Right Leg: 28.5in
- Abdominal: 45.5in
- Waist: 55in
- Left Arm: 14.5in [-1]
- Right Arm: 15in [-1]
- Left Leg: 28.5in [+5]
- Right Leg: 28.5in [+5]
- Abdominal: 44in [-1.5]
- Waist: 54in [-1]
I'll probably do another measurement in 2 weeks. I put my scale away for two weeks. Ive been stepping on the scale every morning and been driving myself nuts. I haven't broken 239 yet. I'm hoping in two weeks that I'm down to 235! We shall see!
