Good Morning Everyone! Just posting to update everyone. I will be posting more, and putting more thoughts on this. I really want an actual website, but i'm not sure what I need to do to get there.
I have lost 21 lbs since February 13. I feel so much better than I did at 246 lbs. I'm definitely not where I want to be. I am seeing a difference in my face, and A LITTLE in my stomach but definitely not as much as I would like. I just have to remember that it is going to take time. I am going on vacation in 74 days [10 weeks] and want to lose AT LEAST 20 more pounds by then. That would be 2 lbs a week, which is completely do able! I've been sick this week, in bed, so hopefully I will be back in the gym in the next couple days. I had a hard week of workouts planned but that was ruined by my dang immune system. I want to be able to go shopping on vacation and buy clothes that fit,and be able to go into any store and buy something. Hopefully by August I will be halfway through my weight loss journey. After I hit 200 lbs I have 40 lbs left. I know it sounds like it, but I'm not in a huge rush to lose my weight. I want to get toned as well, but I'm giving myself 2 years to lose this weight, then of course maintain a healthy lifestyle. I can't wait to see where I will be in two years from now!! I know I'm going to do it, I'm sure It could be done in a year, but i'm not rushing it, so long as I get to my goal weight eventually I will be happy!

Hello Readers!
Life is good right now. I have started a countdown! I am going on a vacation in 100 days from today! I want to be down 33 lbs. What would put me at 199lbs. I dont want to see a 2 in my weight on my vacation!! I am currently right around 233 lbs. What I need to do is stop eating extra added sugar, and only drink water! A huge problem with me is not drinking enough water. I need to figure out what I can do to get that done! I need to stop going out to eat, and cook healthy at home! We will see how this works! I am going to do this! I want to be able to go shopping for new clothes while away and get a new bathing suit! I will keep you all updated!! :) Here's to 100 days!!

Good Morning To You!! I just wanted to let you all know, I jogged a 13minute 11second mile last night. That is the fastest i've ever done a mile in my entire life! I can't believe it! I've been working so hard to lose weight and not only that but to set goals and accomplish them! I am finding that I can do anything I set my mind too and more! I posted on facebook that I wanted to do a mile in under 16:30 because I did one in 15 minutes yesterday but wasn't sure what I could do. I was blown away when I saw the time:)

Long Time No Post!
I got on this morning to write this blog and the whole layout has changed! I didn't even know how to post.
Anyways, I'm not going to lie, I had a couple of off days. Who Doesn't? I "thought" I hadn't gained any weight but I guess it took some time to catch up with me. I've totally skipped 234. I went from 235 to 233 and if I go back up, I always go to 235. I haven't even seen 234 on the scale. Yesterday I was 235.3 when I weighed in, in the morning. This morning I weighed in and I'm not 233.2. Im THREE pounds away from being in the 220's. That is going to be a great moment to see that. After I see that, I only have 4 pounds to go til I'm down 20lbs. I'm super excited!! I walked the bridge yesterday, I really do believe that working out, makes you lose weight. Not all of what you eat. I walked yesterday 1.7mi and I'm down a pound. I just need to push myself for an hour a day to keep these pounds coming off!!

Bad Bad Girl!
I've been a bad girl this week! I started a babysitting job this week and for that, I have to be up at 5:45am. [I've NEVER been up that early] I only babysit til 9:00am but when I come home, I crash, and I take a 3 hour nap and then I'm to tired to do anything. This week [3/26-3/30] I need to get my butt to the gym right after I babysit so I can get it over with for the day. I drive right by a bridge that's about three miles, so one morning I might do that! It's a very popular bridge to walk. I've never done it but I want to! So hopefully this week will be it! I also want to try and walk/jog the beach! I live one mile from the #1 beach in the USA. There's definitely no excuse why I can't do that! I think it's the i'm afraid to fail. When I'm on the treadmill, I know what I can do..but when I'm outside I don't know what I can accomplish so it scares me. So this week, I want to surpass my fears that walk the bridge and try to see how much I can accomplish at the beach! Do any of you have fears? I need to start thinking of new things to do because I'm getting bored of the treadmill/elliptical at the gym and i'm slacking! So, here's to a week of conquering your fears! Until Tomorrow..

Shirt!
Hi Readers!
I'm so excited! I went yesterday to the shoe store and tried on the shoes I'm getting when I lose 10 more pounds! I wanted to go and just try them on so I knew if they were what I wanted. YES they are!! They are so stinkin' cute! They aren't for everyone because they are super bright but that's the kind of person I am! Im soo super excited!! It's definitely motivation! I'll hopefully have them by May 13! [my three months of working out]
I also just made a shirt from Spread Shirt online. I think I'm also going to use this as motivation. I love getting new workout clothes, and these are $15/including shipping. It's obviously going to be more if you start adding lettering on the back and the sleeves but I put "WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER" on it! That is my all time favorite quote! I have a shirt right now that says "Everyday is training day" It's one of my favorite shirts and I always get comments on it. Maybe every 5lbs I lose I will get a new shirt..or 10lbs. I haven't decided yet. If any of you have shirts you like, or a favorite saying, comment below! I want to know them!
I will be going to the gym tonight! I think i'm going to do 1 hr cardio and then some weights! I haven't done 1 hour in awhile. Normally I stick with 45 minutes but I need to start picking it up.
Question: Do you prefer going to the gym alone or with a partner/spouse?
For me, I like going with someone, but I also really like to go by myself if I'm just doing cardio. I feel like if I do the weights and i'm by myself, I look stupid, which I know obviously isn't true because "i'm doing more than the people at home sitting on the couch!" What's your take on it!?

Hello Weight Loss Friends:)
I was in the tanning bed today, and there's nothing else to do in there but to think..so I was thinking, probably 85% of the people the read this don't personally know me. I wanted to write a post all about me. So you readers will know more of who I am.
I am 21 years old and I live in Florida. I have been struggling with my weight, it seems like my whole life. When I was in middle school, I was a size 12. I thought I was big then I would always wear a matching set of windbreaker pants and a shirt from Aeropostale. [If anyone from middle school is reading this, they are probably laughing because they know it's true!] I've never been comfortable in my own body. Ever. I never really payed a lot of attention to it while I was younger. When I started high school, I weighed 160lbs and thought I was fat. In freshman year, I met my now Fiance, and throughout the 6 years we have been together, I have gained 80lbs. It obviously wasn't over night. We always and still do go out to eat. Its always been something we've done. We don't really go shopping, movies or things like that, we like to go out to eat together. He is the best thing that has happened to me. He cares so much about me, and loves me for every pound of weight I have on me, but wants me to be happy. [and i'm not] He supports me in everything I decide to do, and I couldn't ask for anyone better to have in my life. He works out any chance he gets, so he's helpful to have around when I have a question:)
My sister is also working out and losing weight. I think my weight loss journey has brought my sister and I closer. I know that when she doesn't call me one day, and I don't call her..that we haven't worked out! We always call each other at least once a day to see what we did at the gym. She hasn't seen so much pounds gone as she has inches [she's lost a lot of inches!] I am very proud of her!
My dad is going to Seminary School to be a pastor and my mom is along for the journey with him. She's working in Dermatology right now. My mom and dad have supported me throughout my entire life. I really do appreciate all their advice, even though sometimes I might not show it.
So there's a little about myself. Thank you all for reading this blog. It means a lot to me. I have been getting messages from people I don't even know, wanting to hear my story. It makes me so happy and really is going to help me get through this journey!!

Hey Readers! Lots to catch up on!
First, Tuesday March 13, was my one month of working out. I weighed myself this morning and I am down 9 lbs! I'm so excited! I have 2.5 more lbs to go until I hit my second goal!
I went to the gym 3 days ago and jogged 4 minutes! That might be my max right now because my legs were absolutely dying. I was really proud of myself though! I was tired by 1:30 so I pushed through and got to 4 minutes! Next I will try 5 minutes, but I'm going to give it a little time. Yesterday I did the bike for the first time..and I know why it was my first time! I don't really care for it! I did 8 miles in 52 minutes. My Butt, Legs and Feet were all numb. It does cover almost triple mileage though than treadmill/elliptical! Today I did 45 minutes on Elliptical, 3.5 miles. I need to think of other exercises to do to confuse my body or i'm going to start losing weight. I need to go swimming, kayak, things like that! I really want to paddle board, hopefully in the next year I will be able to do that!
My goal for my next month: Hit 225 so I can get my new shoes!!! :) That would mean..losing 12 lbs! I can do this:)

3 minutes!?
Hello Weight Loss Buddies! Lots to talk about!
First, I went to the gym last night and jogged 2 minutes without stopping. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but I haven't been able to do that in 4 years! [because I never consistantly worked out] I get scared/anxious before I start jogging because I never know how long i'm going to be able to do it and I don't want to fail at my goal. So tonight, my goal was to jog 3 minutes, and I did it! That felt really good to know that I can do it! Tomorrow, I WILL do 4 minutes. That's just crazy to think of! My next goal after that will be 5 whole minutes! I will be so excited! I only stop because my breathing gets hard after awhile. My legs are okay. They burn, but I could push through that. So I will definitely keep you all updated on that!
Second, I started the rubber band on your wrist thing yesterday. It really helps me figure out how much I need to drink. Yesterday I drank 7 cups. Today [because I forgot to wear them] I only drank 3. I really need to get my butt in gear because I know its the healthiest thing! [ and its not that I drink soda all day or anything, I just don't drink anything! Sometimes coffee or hot tea]
Third, I did updated measurements today! It's been 10 days and here are the new measurements in comparison..

Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie
In the mornings I like to make this shake for breakfast! I make it in my Single-Serve Blender! [I think everyone should have one of these if you like smoothies on the go!]
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 banana
- ice
- honey
I always put them in, in that order. After the shake is done mixing, I turn the blender on and put a little honey in it and let it mix. This is soo yummy and keeps me full for awhile!
Substitute for Soda & Ice Cream!
I just want to let you guys know what I eat in substitution for Ice Cream and what I drink instead of Soda.
My substitution in place of Ice Cream is Cool Whip Lite. I like to freeze it and just eat a little bit at a time. Its really good. I don't put anything on it, I just take a spoon and eat a little. Eating it frozen makes it more like ice cream. Its got WAY less sugar than ice cream!

I really like drinking Sprite at night, but there is just so much sugar in it, that ESPECIALLY drinking it right before bed, is sooo bad for you! 36G of Sugar in one can!! AHH! So I found that I like to drink Sparkling Ice instead! Theres no sugar in it, and has zero calories. I like it because its carbonated and has such good flavor! It's not like sparkling water..I dont like sparkling water but I love this stuff!! Its pretty cheap, its $1 at Walmart I think. I got it on sale for $1 at my local grocery store.
I like the Coconut Pineapple the best!
What do you guys drink in place of soda that satisfies you?? What do you eat in place of Ice Cream? And do you guys have another other substitutes for other foods/drinks!? Let me know! Comment below!:)

Hard Time Staying Motivated
Hello to My Readers!:)
I hope everyone is having a good week so far! Here's where I'm at..
I'm having a really hard time staying motivated. I don't quite know why. Saturday I did not go to the gym but I rode my bike, and Sunday I took a day off..well yesterday [Monday] I did not want to go to the gym, at all. I was complaining on my way there, and still complaining while I was on the treadmill! I don't know what it is. Now it's Tuesday and I don't feel like getting off the couch. I'm hungry, and eating everything. I can't let today ruin my whole accomplishment's that I've made the last three weeks. This week is supposed to be a great week. It's my fourth week of consistently working out, the week where I make my working out a habit. I'm frustrated because I'm stuck at 239lbs. I'm going back and forth between 240-239. I never want to see 240 ever again! And it keeps creeping back in! This morning I weighed in at 239.6. Yesterday was an "I feel fat" day. I went shopping for some new shirts, and while walking around and walking by all the windows and seeing my stomach, really aggravated me! I hate my stomach. I hate the way I look. Early Riser!
Happy March 1st!
I cant believe it's already March! I'm going to be 22 in 5 months! eeek! Hopefully by then I will be down 45-50lbs. I do live 1 mile from the beach so I'm hoping to be under 200lbs when beach season rolls around..although beach season is already here! [I'm going on Saturday:)]
Last night, I told myself, "You're getting up at 630am to go to the gym before work" My fiance laughed at me. I told him I was serious! [I am the farthest thing from being a morning person!] To be honest with you, if I wouldn't had told him I was going, I probably w0uldn't have. I was so tired! My body was in complete shock! BUT I did it! I was at the gym by 650am. I was going to do the treadmill and I walked past the elliptical and it yelled my name:) I will do the treadmill and weights tomorrow! I did the elliptical for 35 minutes. I wasn't feeling to well. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't eat enough or drink enough, but heres a weird fact about me: If I drink plain water, it will upset my stomach. Weird, I know because theres nothing in water. I cannot drink water at night or I will not feel well. When I go to the gym, I put three slices of fresh lemons in my water, or if I'm in a hurry i'll just put lemon juice from the bottle. It makes a huge difference! I talked to my doctor and she said some people do have that problem. It's so weird because water is so healthy. Who would have thought!?
I have been taking pictures of myself everyday after I workout, I'm saving them to my computer so I can compare them after awhile in a collage. I also have body pictures for BEFORE. How often should I compare them? Once a month, two months, or three? I'm not sure how everyone does it. Please comment and let me know!! I will be doing measurements every month!
One last thing..I went to Mcdonalds this morning to get a black coffee, and I saw a double filet-o-fish. DOUBLE!? Isn't a single bad enough?? I couldn't believe it. No wonder people are so over weight!

I cant believe it's already March! I'm going to be 22 in 5 months! eeek! Hopefully by then I will be down 45-50lbs. I do live 1 mile from the beach so I'm hoping to be under 200lbs when beach season rolls around..although beach season is already here! [I'm going on Saturday:)]
Last night, I told myself, "You're getting up at 630am to go to the gym before work" My fiance laughed at me. I told him I was serious! [I am the farthest thing from being a morning person!] To be honest with you, if I wouldn't had told him I was going, I probably w0uldn't have. I was so tired! My body was in complete shock! BUT I did it! I was at the gym by 650am. I was going to do the treadmill and I walked past the elliptical and it yelled my name:) I will do the treadmill and weights tomorrow! I did the elliptical for 35 minutes. I wasn't feeling to well. Random Thoughts..
Hey! Twice In One Day!! I'm Spoiling you guys:) Here are some random thoughts going through my head..
I want to subscribe to the Fitness Magazine. I think getting that in the mail every month and getting new tips on working out will be more motivation, and also teach me how to do more weight lifting stuff. I'm kind of clueless with it comes to weights. The website says it's only $5.99 for 1 year. Seems super cheap! I'll probably end up ordering it!
I wanted to share my goals and the rewards I have for myself..
#1. Hit 235lbs - Get Sensationail [this is something that I want that isn't very cheap, and I want to have to work for it. So when I hit 235, I'm going to buy this! [I have 5lbs to go!]
#2. Hit 225lbs - This will be 20lbs down. Once I hit 225lbs I will buy these shoes!

I've never had one because i'm not comfortable with myself but i'm super excited to get one eventually!:)
I don't have any other goals set up yet. Once I hit under 200 I'm sure I'll come up with some good one!
Another thought..
I know some people who personally know me and are close with me, probably are annoyed that I always talk about working out and go to the gym, but this is my new life. I need them to understand, this is the new me. Yes, I know this change was sudden, but I've been going back and forth with motivation for years. I try to let people understand..until something hits you, that makes you so upset, so angry, and makes you say "never again" you will not be motivated to change your life. That happened for me, so I made a change THAT DAY. That day was February 13, 2012. I will never forget it! I will never again give another person a reason to ask me if I am pregnant..unless I actually am! I can't believe its been almost three weeks! THREE WEEKS that I have been in the gym consistantly 5-6x a week. One more week and I've made it a habit! I'm so proud of myself for actually sticking to it! FINALLY! This is my new lifestyle, not a diet, not a phase in my life, this is the rest of my life. I'm so excited to feel even better each week!
One last thing..I think this is SUCH a good idea!!!
I will probably be doing this forever now..whoever thought of this is smart!:)

Happy Leap Day!
Hello Readers, Happy Leap Day! :) Did you guys get a good workout in for the extra day of the month? I know I did!
So, as you probably noticed, I did not post yesterday..BUT I did workout! It was my sister-in-law's birthday and I didn't get a chance to post. You'll also notice that I had a shorter workout. I was almost late for dinner because I decided to go to the gym. Since I took off Sunday, I felt like I shouldn't had taken off so early in the week. So I went and did 30 min, and got a good sweat!! Today as well, I got a good sweat in! I did the elliptical for 45 minutes then did some legs and arms for about 15 minutes, and of course, I tanned after :)
I'm curious to find out, do you guys workout in the morning, afternoon or evening? I went to the gym this morning, but normally I go in the afternoon or evenings. To be completely honest, I don't like going in the mornings because there isn't as many interesting people to watch and that's a big part of my workout. I don't watch TV because I like to go to the beat of my music. So people watching is a huge thing. There's a lot of elderly people in the mornings. So normally I go somewhere between 3-5pm. But I am curious to hear who goes when and why [ie: your schedule, less busy, people?]
I did my measurements today. I wasn't going to do them but I figured since I'm not seeing the scale go down as much as I want, I will measure inches so I can tell that way. I honestly don't know what's good, but I know mine are bad so I guess anything down from here is good:) Here they are..
Left Arm: 15.5 inches
Right Arm: 16 inches
Left Leg: 28 inches
Right Leg: 28 inches
Mid Stomach- 45.5 inches
Lower Stomach- 55 inches
Face- 24 inches
There they are! I did my face because that's one of the biggest things I want to start seeing a difference in. I hate my chin! Along with lots of other things on my body! LOL.

5 miles
I cant believe it's already been two weeks since I started making healthier choices and been working out. It doesn't seem like that long! I'm excited to start month two!! They say it takes 4 weeks for yourself to notice a difference and 8 weeks for others. I'm so excited for people to start noticing! I need to do measurements so I can physically see the difference in numbers.
Today I DID NOT want to go to the gym. My stomach hurt and I was tired. But, not going to the gym, isn't an option anymore. So I went. I got in an amazing workout!! I did 4.5 miles on the elliptical [60minutes] then I went on the treadmill and did 1/2 mile. For a total of 5 miles. I total of 70 minutes. My goal this week is so be on a machine for 60 minutes 6x. I know I can do it! I feel great!
Short but sweet:)

Healthy Enchiladas!?
Happy Sunday!
Guess what today is? My off day! [at the gym] Not off dieting. I feel like I've been doing really good with eating but I don't think the scale is agreeing with me. I don't get it. I've been having headaches, I would assume it means two things..1. i'm not eating enough and 2. not enough water. Or maybe because my body is getting used to not eating all the crap? Could that be it? Comment below and let me know! Like I said in my last blog, I'm running out of things to eat. But, the good thing is, I'm not craving sweets..at all! This morning I woke up and there were two things of cinnamon rolls sitting on the counter..I didn't even think twice about not eating them. I just don't want them. Tuesday is my sister-in-law's birthday and there will be a Vanilla Cake with Raspberry filling. Which, I do have to say, is my favorite kind of cake, but I don't want to even eat it because there's SOOO much sugar in a piece of cake! Especially since i'm not seeing the numbers fall on the scale, I'm definitely not eating a piece! For dinner [were going to Outback] I will be getting fish! No more steak! [You know what I'm talking about if your keeping up with my blogs]
I want to share one of my favorite meal choices. Chicken Enchilada Suiza Lean Cuisine! It's sooo yummy! Although, I do have one complaint about it..the box says to cook it on 50% power for 9 MINUTES!! That's sooo not right! Today, I put mine in for 5 minutes on 50% power and it was perfect. I really like these because they are only 290 calories, and the perfect amount of food! The sauce on the enchiladas is really yummy! If you put it in for 9 minutes the sauce will be burnt and your rice will be so hard it won't lose its form! No joke! Do any of you have a favorite Lean Cuisine? I think it's very interesting that I can eat one of these and be satisfied, but when I make something, I always go way over in portions and think that if I put so little on my plate that it's not going to be enough. But when I eat something already in portion, it's just enough!

Sad Day
Hello Readers,
Today is a sad day. A former neighbor of mine, passed away on Feb 22 and today was his Memorial Service. He was an amazing man, husband and father to my two friends. The worst part is, he passed away while he was running of a heart attack. This baffles my mind and absolutely breaks my heart. I cant help but cry in sadness for his entire family. While his son was speaking, he said his dad ran over 1,000 miles in the year 2011, ran 11 marathons [i think it was 11] and he ran 5 of them with his dad. He was so healthy. This shouldn't have happened to such a great person.
I went to the gym after I got home. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical again. It was 2.24 miles. I have felt so fat today! I know that anyone who is overweight, has their "I feel fat" days! Well, today is mine! I feel like I weigh 500lbs and look disgusting. I haven't gained anything so I don't know why I feel like that. It's very aggravating! I'm not going to let it get me down though because this isn't just for weight loss its a lifestyle.
I'm having a hard time with healthy SNACKS. I'm actually having a hard time with it all but mostly snacks. I eat a lot of carrots/hummus, special k chips, celery & peanut butter, lunch meat. That's mainly what I snack on. It's getting kind of boring. Does anyone suggest some snack ideas? Please email me at mybigchange@yahoo.com or comment below! I do look at the comments and my emails! Also for dinner I try to have a salad [no dressing] and some kind of meat. I've been really picky about what i've been eating. Last night I had a hamburger patty with baked beans. That's all I had, and I was still hungry, which makes me snack at night before bed, which is a big no no! I know i'm not eating enough, I just cant ever find anything to eat! Please send your ideas my way! It's greatly appreciated:)

Super Exhausted!
Hello to all who are reading!
Today for some reason, I am completely exhausted! I wasn't in the mood at all to go to the gym. Normally I am. I went to the beach this morning..so I guess, who WANTS to go to the gym after relaxing at the beach? NOT ME! Buttttt...I did anyways! I actually had a really good workout! [Does anyone notice that when you least want to go to the gym, you seem to get a better workout?] That happens to me all the time.
Today I did 3.5miles on the elliptical. For anyone who is wondering what I do, when I get on the elliptical I do 5 min [forwards] at the Resistance 1/Crossramp 10 [i dont touch the crossramp settings] Then after 5 minutes I bump the resistance up to a 5 and go backwards. I switch off forward/backwards every 5 minutes. After 10 minutes I bump up the resistance to 15 for 10 minutes then for the last 10 min I bump it up to 20 [20 is the max] Its super slow but you will get a great leg workout! I like to have the crossramp up because it makes me sweat more. For some reason I LOVE sweating at the gym. I will literally look down and drip sweat all over the machine. Even if I do 3 miles on the treadmill I dont sweat as much as I do on the elliptical.
I havent gotten to much into weights yet, I think I said this on a previous post. Im more concerned about getting into the habit of doing 30-45 min of cardio 5-6x a week. I even thought about working out twice a day, but I dont think that's going to happen right away.
Last night I went to Outback for dinner and NORMALLY I would order a side of fries..but I didn't. It's just not worth it to me to go to the gym and sweat and work my butt off, then go eat fried food, and until your motivated and WANT to lose weight and be healthier, that won't happen. Anyways, I ordered the Outback Special, a 9oz steak and you get two sides, I got [French Onion Soup, and Mixed Veggies with no butter] I know the french onion soup isn't the BEST thing to get, but that's my absolute favorites, and i figured, its better than fries! The french onion soup is 466cal, and my steak was 381, and veggies were nothing so 847 cal is way better than I used to have, which was like 2000+ calories! I feel horrible after eating that steak though, [don't get me wrong, it was one of the best i've ever had] but I know it takes longer to digest red meat, so i just feel like it's just sitting in me, which makes me mad. I didn't lose anything, which irritates me. I know I should've done better so I def. learned my lesson!

I DID IT!!
Today I hit my first goal! I was so happy this morning! My first goal was to finally get out of the 240's. I haven't seen the 30's in years...until today!! I weighed in at 239.6! I was very happy. I'm officially down 5 lbs. I haven't felt better about myself!
I'm actually getting sick :/ I'm super bummed. I was having some stomach problems today, and when I woke up it hurt to walk on my foot and my leg hurt..well all that pain went away and then my throat starts to hurt. I can barely swallow right now. I hope I catch it quick enough because I'm not going to let me getting sick ruin my working out. I went on the elliptical today instead of the treadmill. I didn't want to do to much because I was having some problems with my chest today. I did 2.32 miles in 30 minutes, which isn't great, BUT I was at an incline/intensity of 15 instead of 1. So I go slower which means less miles but more intense workout. I like to do it better that way.
I went to Outback tonight and had the biggest steak, so i'm not planning on there being a drop in the scale tomorrow. It was reallllly good but I should have only eaten half! I've learned my lesson!

Three Miles!
Happy Wednesday!
Today I did 3 miles at the gym. I didn't think I would've done that much! Sometimes before I get to the gym I will think about what I want to do. I used to hate the treadmill! I thought it was like an endless walk, that when you were done you were still in the same place!..which IS true..lol..but I have found a new love for the treadmill! I normally would have done the elliptical. I havent been on it in awhile.
I knocked 3 minutes off my mile today. I was averaging about 20 minute miles [3.0mph] Today I did 17 minute miles! I was very happy. Next goal is to do a 15 minute mile. Hopefully by the end of this week or beginning of next, I can accomplish that!!
My beginning weight was 246, I am now at 240.7. My first goal is to hit the 230's! So I am .8lbs away from that goal. I havent seen the 230's in almost 4 yrs. I was always stuck right around 246-248. I never did hit 250, thank god! So, once I hit the 230's, I will be working towards losing 10 more lbs to hit the 220's! Once I hit 226 my fiance is going to buy me a new pair of shoes:) I'm sooo excited! Then my next big goal is to get under 200. [some people ask me how i'm so brave to share this information for everyone to see..it's because I will never see these numbers ever again. Of course I am ashamed by them, but I cant dwell over that anymore. I have to share my story to try to inspire others!]
Today I did 3 miles at the gym. I didn't think I would've done that much! Sometimes before I get to the gym I will think about what I want to do. I used to hate the treadmill! I thought it was like an endless walk, that when you were done you were still in the same place!..which IS true..lol..but I have found a new love for the treadmill! I normally would have done the elliptical. I havent been on it in awhile.
I knocked 3 minutes off my mile today. I was averaging about 20 minute miles [3.0mph] Today I did 17 minute miles! I was very happy. Next goal is to do a 15 minute mile. Hopefully by the end of this week or beginning of next, I can accomplish that!!
My beginning weight was 246, I am now at 240.7. My first goal is to hit the 230's! So I am .8lbs away from that goal. I havent seen the 230's in almost 4 yrs. I was always stuck right around 246-248. I never did hit 250, thank god! So, once I hit the 230's, I will be working towards losing 10 more lbs to hit the 220's! Once I hit 226 my fiance is going to buy me a new pair of shoes:) I'm sooo excited! Then my next big goal is to get under 200. [some people ask me how i'm so brave to share this information for everyone to see..it's because I will never see these numbers ever again. Of course I am ashamed by them, but I cant dwell over that anymore. I have to share my story to try to inspire others!]

Jogging Time!
Today I went to the gym, it was supposed to be my off day, but I really wanted to tan:) It's horrible. They have tanning beds at the gym I go to, and that is also motivation because I don't want to walk into the gym just to tan then leave. I would look really dumb. So I went to workout. My body is hating me right now I think. I've been to the gym 6x this week. I have been wanting to start jogging but I have been scared because I don't want to get discouraged when I cant do it. I downloaded the app C25k on my phone, the PRO one if anyone is wondering. I have had it about a month now. Ive been walking on the treadmill at the gym and never wanted to try to jog..well today I did..and I did good!! I didnt think I could job for more than 30sec to start and I was jogging for 1 minute at a time. After the third jog I wanted to die! haha. My legs were hurting so bad, but my breathing was okay. I was dripping sweat, which was good!! I love sweating when I'm at the gym. If I dont sweat I feel like I didn't do enough.
So there's my report for today. Tomorrow is my day off! I think after 6 days this week my body needs a break! So I will be back on Tuesday!!! :) I hope everyone had a good weekend!
P.S. I'm hiding my scale for 2 weeks [maybe three] I don't want to get discouraged about the number. So I will report my weight in a couple of weeks!

wOrKiNg OuT!
Hello!! I'm writing this and wondering how I'm going to express how good I feel through typing...ok well I cant..but I'm feeling good!! I've been to the gym 5x this week. That's the most consistant I've ever been. That may sound completely ridiculous, but when your overweight, until something clicks in your brain..you will not be motivated! This is what did it for me..this is very personal but i'm going to share it.
On Monday [2-13] my fiance and I went out to lunch. As we were walking out of the restaurant and I was opening the door, and older man came up to open the door and said "baby on board" and laughed. I walked to the car and balled my eyes out. People don't understand that your weight is not something you can change over night. It's not like he was commenting on my makeup or outfit. I think that's why it hurts even worse because it's not something I can change right away. I don't know who that guy was, but I thank him. If that never happened I don't think I would be as motivated as I am now.
I have been watching what I eat and going to the gym. I pray that I can keep up this motivation. All I need to do it think about sitting in my car crying, I think that will help! I'm not thinking about it anymore like "im giving it a month to see if I can tell a difference" I'm thinking about it as, its my new life. I need to be in the gym 5x a week.
Everyone says I need to lose weight for my health, but honestly, I dont even care about that right now...I just want to look good. I've never felt good about myself in my life. I want to feel pretty. Good health will of course come along with it. I dont want to lose weight by a certain amount of time, and I dont want to go to fast because I dont want all the loose skin.
I havent been doing any weights, yet. I know that is a big part of it too, but i'm focusing on cardio right now. My routine on the treadmill is, start out at 2.5 for about 2 min them bump it up to 3.0 for a couple minutes and walk consistantly at 3.5 for a good 15 min. Bump it up to 3.8 for 2-3 minutes then 4.0 for 1-2 minutes. Doing 4.0 is a struggle for me. Thats REALLLLY fast walking!! I also struggle at 3.8. Even 3.5 a little but I find that its bearable to do. I stay on anywhere from 30-60 minutes.
I will be taking pictures of the treadmill time/mileage after i'm done and posting them once a week. I just think it's a good idea to do and to keep track of my workouts! [I also write down what I do each day]
